The overpass is located in the east of the South Gate of the North District of the Xiyuan Campus of Henan University of Science and Technology in Luoyang City and within the west of Qingdian Road, connecting the South and North Districts of the Xiyuan Campus of Henan University of Science and Technology.
The span of the main bridge is 6.1m+3.5m+38m+3.5m+4.1m continuous steel truss, the span of the bridge is 55.2m, the total length of the bridge is 55.7m, the total width of the main bridge deck is 5.4m, and the net width is 4.5m. The north side of the bridge faces north and east; the south side faces south and west, and a bicycle path step ladder is set up. One escalator is installed on the north side of the bridge to the west and the south side to the east. The upper part of the main bridge adopts a downward-bearing space continuous steel structure truss with a total height of 4.0m, and the lower part of the main bridge adopts a square column pier; the upper part of the step ladder adopts a steel stairway, and the lower part of the step ladder adopts a vase pier.The design basis period is 100 years, and the design service life of the main structure is 50 years.
